NC county unemployment rates rise in November

November county unemployment numbers for North Carolina were released Thursday and show a slight increase from October. Though most counties experienced a rise, figures have improved from a year ago.

Most counties in North Carolina saw an increase in unemployment numbers in January, including all counties in the southeastern part of the state. 

The latest unemployment rates for North Carolina have been released by the Department of Commerce, giving a different look to the state’s economy. 

North Carolina’s unemployment rate decreased from 9.7 percent in October to 9.5 percent in November.
