jazz

Lucky us! The highly acclaimed jazz duo Lisa and Galen are joining us, along with special guest and student Sean. The talented Lisa Rankin is known for her dexterity on the piano, the keybass, the flute, the recorder, the tin whistle, the harmonica, the six string guitar, the twelve string guitar and her amazing vocals. Galen Hunsucker is magnificent on the electric and acoustic guitars, and after spending more than 30 years in the music business captivates audiences with his stellar vocals.

Remember how in the last couple of weeks, we’ve had lots of compliments about various aspects of the station? Well, just when you think you’re flying high…

I live in Wilmington. Your broadcast has been stuttering for the last several weeks and very hard to listen to. What is going on?

Listener Susan Hinger found a very creative way to give us feedback on something that we have been announcing. She wrote us a poem.

I love it. I have it on most of the time here but my favorites are are ANYTHING Garrison Keillor, from The Writers Almanac, and of course Prairie Home Companion, the talk shows, and I love Car Talk. I like classical music but don't like the opera at all and usually turn it off then. But I appreciate so much you being there and all you do. Wish I could do more. Blessings to all of you.

I am a long time supporter and listener of your station, enjoying most your morning news, afternoon news, all things considered segments.  I am independent, politically, leaning towards conservatism...

Note: We received so much Feedback this week that we couldn't get it all on the air. The text below, and the audio, include segments edited out of the on-air version.
