Governor Bev Perdue has ordered that all United States and North Carolina flags at state facilities be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset today.   The order is in recognition of Patriot Day, which President Obama is expected to declare as a National Day of Service and Remembrance.   WHQR’s Rachel Lewis Hilburn reports on how the Governor is asking the public’s help in honoring military families and veterans.
