How many times on how many days are you going to rehash the Wilmington Ten story? Enough already.

[I'm] a long-time listener and fan of WHQR. But while we're at it, I have another nit-picking concern. I listen almost every night to the BBC World News and cringe when I hear, for the umpteenth time, the blurb on the hour every hour … stating that WHQR is proud to carry the BBC, etc. If this is supposed to sound fresh and spontaneous, it doesn't.
Thank you for the 24/7 Classical station WHQR HD2...which I enjoy on my computer. When in the kitchen we listen to WHQR for news and morning Classical music. On Sundays we especially enjoy the program '[With] Heart and Voice'.

February is coming soon. Please ask all your on-air people to pronounce it correctly. If they don't do this, I will have to change stations for the month and I don't really want to do this.
I made a small donation to your fall fund pledge drive and received a very nice coffee mug. When I looked at it, of course, it was "MADE IN CHINA." When living in another area of the country, one of the local radio stations gave away coffee mugs. They contracted a local potter to supply a unique version of their mug. It was different as well as supporting the local community. Just a suggestion, it would be nice if the mug said "MADE IN USA" or even better "MADE IN WILMINGTON NC!" p.s. I love your radio station, it's the only one I listen to.
I seldom listen to HQR because I detest ‘chatter radio’, i.e. Talk of the Nation and Diane Rehm. And when I accidentally catch A Smooth Landing I do NOT recognize this as my station. I really enjoy Wait Wait. That’s my 2 cents, for what it’s worth.

Listener Rachel contacted us Saturday about a problem with Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me – the program began with a repeat of the previous week’s show. WHQR along with a number of other stations were caught unawares by this error, which originated somewhere in the network and was impossible to fix in progress. It was quickly corrected, and the remaining 2 thirds of the show, as well as the Sunday repeat, went on as scheduled. Thanks, Rachel.
