Martha Argerich, Argentinian pianist started playing piano at the age of 3 and is known as one of the greatest pianists of her time.

Martha Argerich is regarded as one of the greatest pianists in the twentieth century, and releasing this four CD collection shows that she is nowhere near done with her musical career.  Argerich will continue to improve and show her virtuosity, possibly earning the title of one of the greatest pianists in the twenty-first century.

Music Review: Everyone Should Own Korngold

Erich Korngold (1897-1957), a founder of film music is most noted for his Academy Award winning soundtrack for The Adventures of Robin Hood.

             Child prodigy and 1940’s film composer Erich Korngold should make a reappearance on everyone’s CD shelf with EMI’s Classics series.  This two CD set shows off his non-Hollywood compositions including his only violin concerto, and the Much Ado About Nothing Suite.
