Monday* through Friday at 11:58 AM, Gina Gambony hosts a celebration of the arts and culture of the Lower Cape Fear. She interviews artists, actors, dancers, writers and creators of community events—all the inspiring movers and shakers who enrich our lives.

Monday, 5/23:  Musician John Golden hosts a Hootenanny this week; he'll join Pat Marriott to tell us all about it.

Tuesday, 5/24: Lilac 94 Harp Duo is joining us to give us a preview of its concert this week at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. We'll hear the harps play for an extended interview on Classical HQR.

Wednesday, 5/25:  Time approaches for the Port City Music Festival.  We'll hear what's in store for music lovers this year.

Thursday, 5/26:  Tune in to hear about the artists behind the exhibit Lost & Found in the MC Erny Gallery. 

Friday, 5/27:  An aerialist-notably named Ariel Schmidtke-joins us to talk about her upcoming show Length of Rope featuring silks, puppets, and more.  

On November 10, 2011, Jemila Ericson interviewed Alicia Alexander and Jada Achs from CFCC's English Department.

On November 9, 2011, Jemila talked with organist Dorothy Papadakos.

There are many events going on in town to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the film Blue Velvet, which brought so much attention to Wilmington. 

Dan Brawley, Director, talks about the amazing scope of the 17th Annual Cucalorus Film Festival, which runs this Thursday through Sunday, with over 147 films from 22 countries.

On November 3, 2011, Jemila talked with author Michael J. Maccalupo about his coming-of-age novel Where the Road Begins.  He will be at Pomegranate Books on Thursday, November 10th at 7 pm.

Pat Marriott interviews Lynn Gattone and Jean D’Addario. They discussed the AAUW's event this Saturday called Lunch with Carolina Authors.
