Here at WHQR, our Summer Drive is sounding very different – that’s because it is the Summer Stealth Drive and it's going on right now!
We’re trying to meet our summer goal of $30,000 without interrupting programming. It seems like a crazy idea, but your donation will make it possible. In past summers, your gifts have allowed WHQR to completely cancel the on-air pledge drive.
Why do we do this? Because we love the programming just like you do, and we want to be able to bring it to you in its entirety, without interruptions! Make your gift today and help us meet our goal and we won't have to have a traditional pledge drive. This is the fundraiser. It’s time to give.
We have some fantastic giveaways scheduled from the end of June through mid July. We’ll be giving away gift cards to local businesses, dinners at excellent restaurants, plus an Apple iPad.

All current WHQR Sustaining Members are automatically entered
- Only one entry per household
- Employees of WHQR and their family members are not eligible to win
- You do not have to pledge to WHQR to enter the contest*
- The prizes are not redeemable for cash
- The winner is solely responsible for any tax implications of winning a prize
- The winners will be notified by phone or email
*To enter without making a pledge, please email memberservices@whqr.org with “Sweeps Entry” in the subject line and you will be entered in the contest that is on at the time you sent the email.
