WHQR is [no longer] experiencing technical problems

Update Wednesday afternoon, November 2nd:

We were able to restore all functionality early this afternoon. Thanks to Operations Manager George Scheibner and a very special SA-lute to Jobie Sprinkle, Chief Engineer of WFAE in Charlotte, who took the day off to drive down here and make needed repairs. Both our FM and HD signals should be back on track now.

Beginning the afternoon of Tuesday November 1, WHQR experienced some equipment failures that affected both our FM signal and our HD2 (Classical) signal. Apparently a short in our primary studio console led to several other problems. We expect to be working on the issues until late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning. We'll keep you posted on developments.
