The recent addition of Classical HQR 96.7fm and the simultaneous revamp of HQR News 91.3fm have been, as expected, mammoth tasks. Because we are automated during parts of the day and on weekends, we have had to re-write literally thousands of lines of computer code. Some of it has gone more smoothly than we could have hoped.
But as expected, there have been errors: patches of silence, two signals on top of each other, and earlier this week, some hours of silence where the BBC should have been. We are working long hours to find and fix the problems. It does help when listeners give us feedback -- the more specific, the better. Thank you for understanding, and for letting us know!
