CAPE FEAR MEMORIAL BRIDGE CLOSURE: UPDATES, RESOURCES, AND CONTEXT

Opening Panel Round

PETER SAGAL, HOST:

Right now, panel, it is time for you to answer some questions about this week's news. Roxanne, some troubling news this week in health, a new study shows a high incidence of arthritis among whom?

ROXANNE ROBERTS: Human.

SAGAL: No.

(SOUNDBITE OF LAUGHTER)

SAGAL: Let me give you a hint. First there was the rheumatosaurus.

ROBERTS: Dinosaurs.

SAGAL: Dinosaurs.

(SOUNDBITE OF BELL)

ROBERTS: Arthritis did in dinosaurs.

SAGAL: Well, we don't know if it killed them but apparently there is some evidence that they suffered from it.

BRIAN BABYLON: It made them hard to get out of the way of the meteor.

SAGAL: That's true.

(SOUNDBITE OF LAUGHTER)

SAGAL: Oh my back. Last week on the show we discussed the discovery that dinosaurs may have passed so much gas they might have heated the climate. This week we now find out they have arthritis. Turns out dinosaurs were just giant grandpas.

(SOUNDBITE OF LAUGHTER)

SAGAL: It's like, oh, I've fallen and I can't get up. "Dude, it's a tar pit. You're out of luck."
