WHQR's classical music mainstay, Jemila Ericson, has been away from her daily 9 am - 1 pm shift for a few days to tend to her mother Jean in her last days. Jean Ericson died at Trinity Grove care facility early in the morning of Tuesday, March 11, 2014.
Jemila wanted her listeners to know that she appreciates the expressions of concern and care she received during her mom's long illness. Your thoughts and prayers have been and are welcomed. Jemila expects to return to the air in a few days.
