Listener Martyn, who had previously written to us about his growing tired of the word “eclectic”, noticed in a web page comment that we had done it again, on January 20th at 2:00 pm.
Remember how way back when – a week ago, in fact – listener Nancy wrote:
Are we expected to memorize the content of the Radio Lab show about the smoker who talks about giving $5000 to the Ku Klux Klan?
We promised to get repetition taken care of. I said as much on the air a week ago. By now you as an alert listener will have guessed that --
-- of course, that it happened again. Many thanks to Nancy (again), Phil, Alexis, Jason, Jeffrey and Susan among others for letting us know you’re unhappy, and you deserve to be. We are really plumbing the depths of shame now, and we are tempting fate by doing this, but we are now, scout’s honor, convinced it will not happen again this Sunday.
Listener Anne Russell wrote on our website after yesterday’s commentary:
Gwenyfar [Rohler]'s poetry dude commentary ma[de] my day. You've gotta keep Gwenyfar on air a often as possible; her intelligence and sense of humor make life worth living.
Thank you, Anne, for that feedback.
Here’s another way to give us feedback: The Spring 2014 WHQR Survey. It’s your chance to tell us what you like -- and don't like -- about WHQR. And one lucky participant will win a WHQR Smooth Landing Guest DJ slot.
This spring we've made it easier than ever to enter. WHQR members will soon be receiving copies of the survey in the mail. But the online version is quick and easy to fill out, with more room for your comments about WHQR. Find the online version at whqr.org.

We'll give away a Smooth Landings Guest DJ slot to one winner, drawn at random from those who fill out the survey by April 11th. Only one entry per person, please.
You’ll have a chance to tell us your comments, some of which will no doubt appear in Friday Feedback. I hope you will participate in our survey. Your cooperation will help us make WHQR better.
