Danny Hefner, Democratic challenger of Senator Rabon, talks incentives, biofuel, jobs for veterans

Democratic Candidate Danny Hefner is hoping to beat Incumbent State Senator Bill Rabon, a Republican, in the race for the seat in District 8. 

The District includes Brunswick, Pender, and Bladen Counties as well as a sportion of western New Hanover County. 

After putting in over a million miles on America’s highways as a long-haul trucker, Hefner decided to run for public office.  That decision, he tells WHQR’s Rachel Lewis Hilburn, cost him his job.
