The Coastal Carolina Clay Guild holds its annual Holiday Show and Sale this weekend. Friday evening is the opening reception from 5:00pm - 8:00pm at the Hannah Block Community Arts Center in downtown Wilmington. The space will be filled with thousands of functional and artistic clay objects created by 30 artists, plus live music by Tallis Chamber Orchestra. The sale continues Saturday and Sunday.
Ceramic artists Elaine Klapproth and Dick Heiser joined us to talk about the Guild and the show. In addition to the sale, a raffle of 30 items donated by the artists will benefit the Empty Bowls project. Listen above.
