The Cape Fear Chordsmen present Dawg Gone: A Story of Puppy Love Saturday, May 16 @ 1:30 & 7:30 at the Scottish Rite Temple, 17th Street

 Cape Fear Chordsmensing for the station last week.  A quartet, called Hazardous Moving Parts, came in to tell us about the upcoming Chordsmen show,  Dawg Gone: A Story of Puppy Love, live at the Scottish Rite Temple on Saturday, May 16. 

The performance will feature Hazardous Moving Parts, the Coastal Harmonizers, and Whammy-the Carolinas District Champion of the Barbershop Harmony Society.    

The performance by this gathering of over 40 melodic gentlemen will tell the love story of a dog (or two), and each song in the story is dedicated to a different dog rescue organization:  Coastal Animal Rescue Effort (CARE), New Hanover Humane Society, Saving Animals During Disasters (SADD), Salty Paws Thrift Store, Pawsitive Partners Prison Program, Paws Place, Pets for Vets, Adopt an Angel, and Canines for Service.
