Boseman Will Not Seek Senate Seat

Wilmington, NC – State Senator Julia Boseman says she will not seek re-election.

Boseman's partner is expecting, and in a released statement Boseman said that drove her to decide to spend more time focused on her family.

Boseman promised New Hanover County residents that they would be well represented in the state Senate until her term ends in 2010.

Boseman was a New Hanover County Commissioner before being elected to the state Senate five years ago.
