Over a dozen non-profit organizations have benefited from the yearly fundraiser, Arts Sensation. This is the 14th year Forward Motion Dance director Tracey Varga has organized this celebration of dance and music to help a local organization; this year, Lower Cape Fear Hospice will be the beneficiary.
Tracey Varga tells us about the musical first act of the show, performed by the FROG Project (Benny Hill joins the core performers-Kevin Kolb, Teddy Burgh, Troy Pierce, and Ryan Woodall), plus the wide variety of dance performances in the second act-from bellydancing to tap to classical ballet. Dancers and choreographers include Tracey Varga, Linda Larson, Anne Firmender, James Devita, Ashley Barnes, and others. David Howell, the development manager from Lower Cape Fear Hospice (LCFH), also joined us to talk a bit about the work LCFH does for the community.
This benefit performance is one night only, Thursday, April 16 at 8:00 at Thalian Hall. Call the Box Office at 910-632-2285 or click here for tickets
