Terry Richman worked in politics, was a fundraiser, and a labor arbitrator in multiple prison hearings prior to starting law school a month before her 40th birthday. She practiced law for two decades in Rochester, N.Y., telecommuting for the last 5 years from her new home in Wilmington, N.C. Her varied legal career included representing clients in all manner of environmental problems, negotiating public/private partnerships, and even representing professional sports teams regarding the building of sports stadiums. She has been involved with public radio and television for more than a decade and is active in other community groups in New Hanover County including the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UNCW. In her off time, Terry explores the outdoors, reads, cooks, and travels.
