Libby Kane is a student in UNCW's International MBA program. Her undergraduate work and interests are in public relations and higher education, athletics and digital media. Libby has fallen in love with the unique culture of the greater Wilmington area and can be found soaking up every last bit of what the Cape Fear region has to offer.

About the Author:

Peterson was recently featured on CNN's "Declassified." She's a retired CIA case officer, and in the 1970s, she was based in Moscow as the agency's contact with "Trigon," a mole in the Soviet Foreign Ministry. "Marti" was arrested by the KGB, taken to Moscow's notorious Lubyanka prison -- and lived to tell the tale.

Donald Wood of Wilmington, North Carolina passed away on July 4, 2016 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, just two days past his 71st birthday. Don was born in Rochester, NY and honorably served in the U.S. Coast Guard until 1989.

As a front desk volunteer, Don’s presence and dedication on WHQR’s front line will be greatly missed. His humor and conversation lifted the spirits of all those around him.
