Geoffrey Losee has been a volunteer all his adult life. After graduation from the United States Naval Academy, (B.S., Oceanography) in 1985, Geoff served as a Surface Warfare Officer deploying to the Arabian Gulf on several occasions. Geoff resigned his active US Navy commission and accepted a reserve officer commission in order to attend Campbell University’s Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, graduating in 1994 with his Juris Doctorate, Cum Laude. As a Naval Reservist, Geoff’s service varied from units that supported Military Sealift Command, to Mobile Inshore Undersea Warfare, to the Office of Naval Research.
While at Campbell University, Geoff was a member Campbell Law Review and served as Research Editor, 1993 – 1994. Admitted to the North Carolina bar in 1994, Geoff has been practicing law in Wilmington, with George Rountree, III ever since. Geoff serves as managing partner of his firm, Rountree Losee LLP in the firm’s general practice providing a full spectrum of legal services; Geoff’s practice emphasizes litigation defense (specializing in admiralty and maritime matters) and real estate development & transactions.
Geoff has been a church musician since the age of 9 and sings tenor with the choir of Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church in Wilmington.
