November county unemployment numbers for North Carolina were released Thursday and show a slight increase from October. Though most counties experienced a rise, figures have improved from a year ago.

The latest county unemployment numbers show a steady decrease in all counties in the region, according to the North Carolina Department of Commerce. For metropolitan areas, WHQR’s Sara Wood reports Wilmington had the second-largest increase in employment over the last month.

The North Carolina Department of Commerce released county unemployment rates for February Thursday.

Most counties in North Carolina saw an increase in unemployment numbers in January, including all counties in the southeastern part of the state. 

The latest unemployment rates for North Carolina have been released by the Department of Commerce, giving a different look to the state’s economy.
