WHQR needs individuals to answer phones during our Summer 2014 Pledge Drive. Pledges are taken by computer, so all volunteers should feel comfortable typing and using the system. Shifts begin with a brief orientation and can be a fun way to meet other Public Radio fans and hang out with the WHQR staff! Non-profits in the Cape Fear region know that WHQR Public Radio is an essential part of a strong marketing plan, and one of the best ways to expand their reach.
In our 2014 Fall Drive, October 15 - 21, WHQR will salute local non-profits that make a difference in our community, and give your group a chance to be heard even more. Winners of our PartnershipChallenge will receive underwriting contracts on WHQR.
You need to stop claiming you don't run commercials. You most emphatically do run commercials, constantly. You simply insult the intelligence of your listeners by calling them euphemisms instead of commercials. Don't do that.
